Ruby Mabel VanCleve 89 passed from this world to be with her Lord Thursday, July 9, 2020 at the Saint Joseph Hospital in Lexington. She was born October 16, 1930 in Hazel Green, KY to Thomas and Lidia Ratliff. She was a homemaker and a devoted Christian who loved the Lord with all her heart she was a long time member of the Mt. Sterling Church of God and when she moved to Lexington became a member of the Victory Time Full Gospel Church. She is survived by two sons Timothy VanCleve and wife Tammy of Lexington, Robert VanCleve and wife Terri of Stanton, two daughters Sue VanCleve of Lexington, Sereda Saylor and husband Mike of Clay City, thirty nine grandchildren one Richard VanCleve that she raised as her own child and three great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents Thomas and Lidia Ratliff, a son Ronnie VanCleve, one great-grandson Dalton Barnett, three brothers Mort Ratliff, Garnett Ratliff, Paul Phipps, two sisters Edith Phipps and Alice Phipps. Funeral services will be held 2 PM Sunday, July 12, 2020 at the Grayson Funeral Home Chapel in Clay City with Bro. Timothy VanCleve officiating. Friends may visit Saturday, July 11, 2020 from 6 PM till 8 PM. A graveside service will be held 11 AM Thursday, July 16, 2020 at The Bluegrass Memorial Gardens at 4915 Harrodsburg Rd in Nicholasville. Grayson Funeral Home in Clay City is in charge.
