David Sparks 70

David Sparks 70 of Clay City passed away Monday, September 4, 2017 at his residence. He was a former bus driver for the Powell County School system and a member of the Black Creek Holiness Church. He is survived by two sons Michael Sparks of Clay City, Josh Sparks and wife Jessica of Clay City, daughter Michelle Allen and husband Mike of Stanton, three grandchildren Tyler Allen, Austin Sparks, Julia Sparks, two brothers Paul Sparks of Clay City, Silas Sparks and wife Betty of Clay City, two sisters Naomi Proffitt and husband James of Clay City and Mary Crowe and husband Rodney of Stanton. He was preceded in death by his wife Hazel Sparks and his parents Norman and Virginia Sparks. Funeral services will be held 2 PM Thursday, September 7, 2017 at the Grayson Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Sammy Faulkner and Bro. Hebert Barnett officiating. Friends may visit Wednesday from 5 till 9 PM. Burial will be in the Clark Cemetery in Clay City. Grayson Funeral Home is in charge of services.
