Katherine Fraley 94 of Clay City widow of Roy Fraley passed away Monday, February 6, 2017 at the Hospice Compassionate Care Center in Richmond. She was a member of the Powell’s Valley Baptist Church, a teacher in a one room school and retired from General Electric Lamp Plant in Lexington after working for 30 years. She is survived by one sister Elizabeth Ann Hill of Summer Hill, GA and a special nephew Tim Taylor. She was preceded in death by her parents Monroe and Lydia Combs, her husband Roy Fraley, Brother Mathew Combs, and sisters Ollie McIntosh, Alvia C Thelander and Ovilla Hall. Funeral services will be held 6 PM Thursday, February 9, 2017 at the Powell’s Valley Baptist Church with Bro. Gary Willoughby and Bro. Marion Brewer officiating. Friends may visit Thursday from 4 PM till time of the service. She will be entombed in the Brown Cemetery in Morehead. In lieu of flowers make donation to Hospice Compassionate Care Center of Richmond or Powell’s Valley Baptist building fund or food ministry. Grayson Funeral Home is in charge of services.
