Dorothy A. Banks 71 of Clay City passed away Thursday, October 6, 2016 at Saint Joseph Hospital in Lexington. She was retired from C M S and was the Assistant Pastor of the Ralph Banks Full Gospel Church. She is survived by one son Gregory Wayne Banks and his wife Margaret of Clay City, two daughters Cynthia Lynn Sullivan and her husband Shannon of Mt. Sterling, Tauana Annett Poe of Clay City, seven grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, two sisters Lillie Smith of Richmond, Jean Conners of Richmond and several step and half siblings. She was preceded in death by her parents Roscoe and Mary Reva Rogers, her husband Ralph Banks, three brothers Stanley Rogers, Kenneth Rogers, Lynwood Rogers and several step and half siblings. Funeral services will be held 2 PM Saturday, October 8, 2016 at The Ralph Banks Full Gospel Church with Bro. Earl Hisle and Bro Tim Goshen officiating. Friends may visit Friday from 5 till 9 PM at the church. Burial will be in the Banks Cemetery. Grayson Funeral Home is in charge of services.
