Effie Craig 81 of Mt. Sterling widow of Emery Craig passed away Monday, November 16, 2015 at Saint Joseph Hospital. She was a housewife. She was a faithful viewer and supporter of WLJC and a member of the Full Gospel Word of God Church. She is survived by three sons Paul Arnett and wife Deloris of Mt. Sterling, Emery Craig Jr. of Mt. Sterling, Phillip Craig and wife Marlisa of Nortonville, three daughters Beverly Hopkins and husband Vaughn of Mt. Sterling, Brenda Ferguson and husband Ernie of Means, Carol Craig of Mt. Sterling, one brother Cleopas Roberson and wife Sandra of Owingsville, one sister Gladys Sparks of Owingsville, several grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents Walter and Pearl Roberson, her husband Emery Craig, a daughter Lougena Craig, two brothers Sonny and Irvine Roberson, three sisters Mary Montgomery, Dolly Burton, Gertrude Lynch, two grandchildren Ashley Ferguson, Aimmee Charles, and a great grandchild Kaitlyn Paige Adams. Funeral services will be held at 1 PM Friday, November 20, 2015 at the Full Gospel Word of God Church in Jeffersonville with Bro. Ike Sams officiating. Friends may visit Friday from 11AM till 1 PM. Burial will be in the Macpeliah Cemetery. Grayson Funeral Home is in charge of services.
