Wynter Gianna Medley

Wynter Gianna Medley (3), daughter of Mckenze Alisabeth Stewart and Shannon Malik Medley, passed away peacefully in her Gigi’s arms on March 9th, 2023 Wynter was born January 27th, 2020 at IU Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis Indiana she enjoyed going to church, snuggling with her family and nurses, sitting in the sun and getting a tan, and taking car rides. In her short life, she touched the lives of so many people. Her strength was seen in how diligently she fought to beat so many of her odds. Her infectious smile and giggle lit up the room. In addition to her parents, she is survived by: one sister, Shylloh Noelle Stewart; 2 aunts, Maryssa Miller (Daniel,) Samantha Johns (Eric); many loving grandparents, Lisa and Keith Alcorn, Mark and Kelli Evans, and Berneta Moore and Buddy Medley. Along with them, she has a multitude of cousins and her (great) uncles; Jeff Amos (Eliza) and Kene Hill (Melissa.) She is also survived by her loving friends that became family: Andrea Greer (Jonathan,) Kristie Hamilton (Jamar,) God mother Kayla Williams, Meghan Shannon (Robert,) and all of TKC nurses who took great care of Wynter. She is preceded in death by her maternal great grandmother, Marjorie Riley.

Funeral services for Wynter will be conducted 12 PM Tuesday, March 14, 2023 at The Grace Point Church in Richmond with Bishop Johnathan Greer officiating. Burial will follow at Madison County Memorial Garden. Friends may visit Tuesday at the church from 10:00am until time of the service. In lieu of flowers the family will ask that donations be made to Grayson Funeral home to help with the funeral expenses and The Kidz Club Daycare where Wynter attended. The Kidz Club offers daycare services from nurses to kiddos with special needs. They were a huge part of Wynters life and development so the mother would like to give back to them also! Grayson Funeral Home in Irvine is in charge of services.
