Robert Osborn Garrett

Robert Osborn Garrett 85 of Mt. Sterling husband of Bettye Garrett passed away Saturday, March 30, 2024 at his residence with his family at his side. Robert was born January 31, 1939 in Oxford, Mississippi to Donnie and Juliet Garrett. He was a retired Veteran of the United States Navy and General Electric. He was a Deacon at the Rolling Hills Church of Christ and a former Commander of the American Legion. He is survived by his wife of 62 years Bettye Garrett, five daughters Cynthia Murphy and husband Danny, Tracy Garrett, Pamela Hinds and husband Kirby, Stephanie Kaye Stewart, Kelly Jones and husband Brian, twelve grandchildren, twenty three great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parent Donnie and Juliet Garrett, three sisters Irene Garrett, Muriel Wright, Martha Johnston, and two brothers Leo and Bramlett Garrett. Funeral services will be held 12 PM Wednesday, April 3, 2024 at the Rolling Hills Church of Christ in Mt. Sterling with Bro. Dan Murphy officiating. Friends may visit Wednesday from 10 AM till time of the service. In Lieu of flowers donation may be made to Rolling Hills Bible Camp. Pallbearers are Garrett Murphy, Caleb Garrett, Robert Murphy, Austin Jones, Elliott Jones, Ethan Skelton, and Joey Donaldson. Grayson Funeral Home is in charge of services.
