Lois Perkins

Lois Perkins 76 of Owingsville passed away Thursday, April 1, 2021 at her residence. She was born Mt. Sterling January 29, 1945 to James and Clara Smith. She was a former employee of Hobbs Department Store in Mt. Sterling and a member of the Gateway Church of God. She is survived by her husband Floyd Perkins of Owingsville, a daughter Celesta Welch and her husband Allan of Owingsville, one granddaughter Tessia Welch of Owingsville and a sister Joyce McCloud of Owingsville. She was preceded in death by her parents James and Clara Smith, first husband Earl Estep and a brother Russell Smith. Funeral services will be held 1 PM Saturday, April 3, 2021 at the Gateway Church of God in Mt. Sterling with Bro. Hammer McGuire and Bro. Jesse Rogers officiating. Friend may visit Saturday from 11:30 till time of the service at the church. Burial will follow in the Kendell Springs Cemetery in Preston. Pallbearers are Allan Welch and members of the Gateway Church of God. Grayson Funeral Home in Clay City is in charge of services.
