Junior Clay Chaney 74 of Clay City passed away Tuesday, May 23, 2023 at the University of Kentucky Hospital. He was born in Irvine December 11, 1948 to Warren and Minnie Chaney. He was a mechanic. He is survived by two sons Jody Chaney (Tina), Allen Chaney, a daughter Joanie Finney, three brothers Jo Chaney, Gene Chaney and Eddie Chaney and a sister Louise Townsend. He was preceded in death by his parents Warren and Minnie Chaney. Funeral services will be held 1 PM Thursday, May 25, 2023 at the Grayson Funeral Home in Clay City with Bro. Sidney Sparks officiating. Friends may visit Thursday from 11 AM till 1 PM. Burial will be in the Mt. Canaan Cemetery in Stanton. Grayson Funeral Home is in charge of services.
