Joan Carol Basham

Joan Carol Basham 80 of Richmond passed away Monday, July 17, 2023. She was born March 21, 1943 in Clark County to Thomas and Mavis Haggard. She was a member of the Sun Valley General Baptist Church. She is survived by her partner Doug Adams of Ravenna, a son James Rogers and wife Angela of Waco, three stepdaughters Sandy Wheeler and husband Kenny, Trish Blackaby and husband Shayne, Jeanie Covert and husband John, two grandchildren, two brother’s James Haggard, Mike Faulkner and a sister Modena Dailey. She was preceded in death by her husband Howard Basham and a son John David Rogers and a sister Betty O’Hair. Funeral services will be held 12 PM Saturday, July 22, 2023 at the Grayson Funeral Home Chapel in Irvine with Bro. Kenny Wasson officiating. Friends may visit Friday, July 21, 2023 from 6 till 8 PM. Burial will be in the Cobb Hill Cemetery. Grayson Funeral Home is in charge of services.
