James Knox

James Knox 83 of Stanton passed away Wednesday, April 17, 2024 at the Clark Regional Medical Center in Winchester. He was born July 16, 1940 in Middletown, OH to Berlin and Florence Knox. He was retired from the County Road Department. He is survived by two daughters Rosalie Snowden (Walter), Charlotte Catron (Virgil), five grandchildren Jacob Larrison, Josh Larrison, Walter Snowden JR, Randy Catron, Stacy Jones and ten great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife Margie Knox, a daughter Melissa Larrison, a granddaughter April Catron, five brothers Denzel Knox, Elroy Knox, Kenneth Knox, Robert Knox, Larry Knox, and two sisters Deloris Faye Hill and Manie Aleshire. Funeral services will be held 1 PM Friday, April 19, 2024 at the Grayson Funeral Home in Clay City with Garry Jones officiating. Friend may visit Friday from 11 AM till time of the service. Burial will be in the Mountain Rest Cemetery in Stanton. Pallbearers are Jacob Larrison, Josh Larrison, Dalton Snowden, Walter Snowden JR, Andrew Jones and Terry Larrison. Honorary pallbearers are Brayden, Brantley, Brody, Trinity, Kaylynn Larrison , Briana Jones Caden and Emily Catron. Grayson Funeral Home is in charge of services.
