Alice Townsend 67 of Irvine passed away Sunday, November 5, 2023. She was born in Madison County July 10, 1956 to Willie and Dora Cox. She was a Census work. She is survived by her husband Creed Townsend, a son Matthew Townsend, two daughters Belinda Hunt and husband Ray, Julie Brooks, four children, a brother Ivan Everett and wife Nancy and several sisters. She was preceded in death by her parents. Two children Heather and Hester Townsend. Funeral services will be held 1 PM Wednesday, November 8, 2023 at the Grayson Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Sidney Sparks officiating. Friends may visit Wednesday from 11AM till time of the service. Burial will be in the Crowe Cemetery. Grayson Funeral Home is in charge of services.
