Melvin Thomas “Tommy” Vivian passed away at his residence Monday, July 6, 2020. He was the son of the late Virgil Vivian and Susie Kate Reddix and a lifelong resident of Montgomery Co. Tommy was born January 29, 1943 in Jeffersonville. He began his career as a laborer and retired as the owner of his own excavation company, Vivian Contractors. The result of his hard work is still visible around central Kentucky at places like Bluegrass Airport, the Man of War extension, the original Walmart shopping center in Mt.
