Paul Sparks 77 of Clay City passed away Monday, September 25, 2018 at the Fountain Circle Nursing Home in Winchester. He was a farmer and a member of the Wildwood Chapel. He is survived by his partner Pearl Lewis of Clay City, one brother Silas Sparks and his wife Betty of Clay City, two sister’s Naomi Profitt and husband James of Clay City, Mary Crowe and husband Rodney of Stanton and ten Nieces and Nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents Norman and Virginia Sparks and a brother David Sparks. Whitney MacNeill 18 of Mt. Sterling passed away Saturday, September 22, 2018. She was born October 1, 1999 to Stephanie Workman Charles and George MacNeill. She was a 2018 Graduate of the Montgomery County High School. She is survived by her mother Stephanie Workman Charles of Mt. Sterling, father George MacNeill, two brothers Glenn and Travis Asher, a sister Chelsea Polinsky, maternal Grandmother Doreen Dishion and paternal grand-parents George and Marion MacNeill . Louis Christopher Fischer 68 of Clay City formerly of Buffalo, New York took his heavenly flight Saturday, September 1, 2018 after a short illness. He was born May 18, 1950 in Buffalo, New York to George and Philomena Fischer. He was a member The Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church in Buffalo, he was a former concrete mason and was an avid fisherman and hunter and loved his football team the Buffalo Bills. He spent the last year of his life enjoying the peaceful scenery of what he referred to as “God’s Country”.
