James Ray Gilliam 30 of Clay City passed away Monday, September 26, 2016 from injuries received in a automobile accident. He was a Roofer for Trent’s Home Improvement. He is survived by one daughter Caedence Rae Gilliam and his fiancé Xylina Barnett. He was preceded in death by his parents James Gilliam and Dawn Poblette. Funeral services will be held 12 PM Saturday, October 1, 2016 at the Grayson Funeral Home Chapel. Friends may visit Sat. from 10 AM till time of the service. Burial will be in the Tanyard Cemetery in Barbourville. Grayson Funeral Home is in charge of services.

James Waverly Riggs 60

James "Jim" Riggs 60 of Stanton passed away Saturday, September 3, 2016 at the V. A. in Lexington. He was a veteran of the United States Army. A member of the Stanton Baptist Church a Electrician and a member of the Masonic Lodge. He is survived by one son Bryan Riggs and wife Andrea of Hinesville, GA, one daughter Amanda McAuliffe and husband Joseph of Athens, GA, two grandchildren Olivia Riggs and Chucky Ginter JR of GA and one sister LaHannah Fields of Hazard.
